Dr. Yasaman S. Roland Launches Center for Transformative Dentistry
Rebranded Practice Offers Unique “Wholistic” Approach to Treat Root Causes of Disorders

Annapolis, MD – March 1, 2025 – Recognizing the deep connection between oral health and overall well-being, Dr. Yasaman S. Roland has rebranded her practice as the Center for Transformative Dentistry. This shift reflects her whole-body, patient-centered approach to dentistry, which addresses not just oral health, but also jaw alignment, posture, breathing, and chronic pain.

Research shows that over 10 million Americans suffer from TMJ disorders, often linked to jaw misalignment and posture issues.¹ Over her 15 years in practice, Dr. Roland has observed how dental issues often stem from deeper imbalances in the body. Utilizing advanced 3D imaging technology, she evaluates how misalignments in the jaw, neck, and spine contribute to conditions such as TMJ disorders, headaches, sleep apnea, and improper facial development in children.

To treat the root causes, Dr. Roland integrates functional orthodontics, craniosacral therapy, osteopathy, and breath work to correct the root causes of these conditions. “I realized that if we bring different disciplines together, we can address the underlying issue, not just treat symptoms,” said Dr. Roland. “This understanding led me to develop the Center for Transformative Dentistry’s wholistic approach to dentistry—one that not only enhances smiles but also improves breathing, alignment, and long-term health outcomes for my patients.”

At the Center for Transformative Dentistry, Dr. Roland uses three signature treatments that take advantage of her integrated approach:

  • Body Balancing Orthodontics® – A functional approach to orthodontics that improves jaw alignment, posture, and facial development, particularly in children, potentially reducing the need for braces.
  • Natural Relief® for TMJ and Chronic Headaches – A non-invasive, holistic treatment method that corrects jaw imbalances to alleviate pain and tension caused by TMJ disorders.
  • Balanced Beauty Lyft® – A unique, non-invasive approach to aesthetic dentistry and facial rejuvenation, focusing on natural, structural harmony.

The rebranding of Dr. Roland’s practice as the Center for Transformative Dentistry reflects her commitment to a whole body approach dental care. Dr. Roland’s website features a number of “before and after” images to demonstrate the results she has been able to achieve for patients. Her newly redesigned office space creates a welcoming and calming environment, aligning with her patient-centered philosophy.

I always walk away from my dental visit with optimism, no matter the circumstance or complications involved. I appreciate Dr. Rowlands methodical and patient approach to a long term complicated dental 'restructuring'. And thanks to DD for her support and expert handling of my situation, adding a bit of needed humor as well!

Dr. Roland is an EXCELLENT dentist! I'm a senior with age related gum recission. Dr. R told me I was a good candidate for Exosome therapy - something I had never even heard of before. She sent me some articles about it and we tried a treatment - easy and painless. I am so amazed and pleased with the regenerated gum tissue results in a few short weeks and continued improvement months later. I'm thankful and impressed that Dr. Roland is so informed about new dental therapy procedures and skillful in its application.

Awesome experience: cutting edge, and at the same time the personal experience of an "old fashioned" dentist.
